With less than a month to go in the race to the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are locked in a neck-to-neck final sprint. 

Just recently, we witnessed an even-tempered and policy-focused vice-presidential debate - with few political body blows between their running mates, Republican JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz.

With polling averages showing all seven battleground states nearly tied, what else must the candidates do to capture the much-needed vote share to emerge victorious?
