US President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, who had been convicted of making false statements on a gun background check and illegally possessing a firearm and pled guilty to federal tax charges. 

President Biden’s move marks a stunning reversal, after repeatedly claiming he would not pardon his son. This also comes just weeks before he is set to leave office.
